YouTube Best mic for youtube

Hey all

i have had several headsets and the sound quality has always been quite poor in regards to the mic , recently i have had logitech g430 headset & turtle beach p60 having tried both of these i resorted to using my samsung galaxy s8 voice recorder for my commentaries however i want to know what you guys use for making your videos as i have been out and picked up a blue snowball ice for £35.99 here in the uk at currys pc world and i notice a instant difference

For me I utilize a Yeti mic which is fantastic. Prior to it I used a Rosewill RHTS-8206 which was a headset/mic combo and worked awesome as well, but had background noise. By utilizing Audacity I was able to clear up the background noise and make it more crisper. A mic good mic does help, but even if you don't have the best one, have a software that's able to clean it up is also very helpful.

For me I never use a headset with a mic for recording with, I prefer the Blue Yeti Microphone as its good for all round recordings, the quality is amazing, the voice is crystal clear and you have 4 settings to choose from on the microphone.

I have a tonor xlr with phantom power i got both from amazon and it didnt break the budget. Hopefully this link helps you

The one I use and recommend is The Blue Snowball Mic. Its a High Quality Budget Microphone good for youtube-gaming etc.

Got a Blue Snowball iCE as well. It's a great starter mic imho
